2018 program service accomplishments: During fiscal 2018, the Mississippi Center for Nonprofits conducted fifty nonprofit workshops that delivered management training to some 614 nonprofit leaders across the state. Hosted five regional allday nonprofit conferences in which 200 nonprofit leaders received training on key topics. Fielded nearly 1,000 calls for help from nonprofits across the state. Sent a biweekly newsletter to 3,000 Mississippi nonprofits. Worked closely with MS Association of Grantmakers and the MS Commission on Volunteer Service on ways to improve services and assistance to nonprofits. Consulted with some 40 nonprofits on management issues.
