Mission
2018 was a great year for the CWC. We graduated 6 women from our program and all are doing well. That's to be commended in a program like this. In 2018, we added a work program whereby our residents have an opportunity to work for pay at our stores after only 60 days in the program. This provides a chance for them to begin saving money toward their future and/or pay off any fines they might have. Many more than those 6 came through our doors, but not all chose to tough out the one year commitment. We know that while they were here, we provided the tools for them to be successful if they are willing to do the work and commit to stay the course of sobriety. In April & October, we hosted our 2 largest fundraisers. We set new records for sponsorships, giving and had more participation than ever before. Our thrift stores began thriving again and we were able to end the year with a sizeable surplus in funds.
