Tamassee DAR School partners with children and families to overcome life's obstacles through campus and community based programs that nurture loving homes, inspire wholeness, expand educational horizons, and train exceptional citizens.

Year round service is provided for up to 68 children between the ages of 7 and 21 in our campus program providing an array of programs and services tailored to the needs of our children. Our services include life skill training, counseling, mentoring, the arts, sports, family relationship growth and preparation for permanency. Much of this is accomplished through individual goal setting with permanency and family reunification as the ultimate goal. When accepted by the family, aftercare services are utilized to assist with the transition from our campus program to their forever home, increasing the successful outcome of reunification or adoption.
