Mission

The Beaufort Memorial Hospital Foundation is the fundraising arm of Beaufort Memorial Hospital. The Foundation encourages annual contributions and special gifts, promotes bequests and other estate gifts, and manages the signature Valentine Ball event and other events. Community volunteers serve as Foundation trustees and are dedicated to seeing that Beaufort, S.C. and surrounding areas have the finest health care possible. They work in concert with the Hospital board and administration to help address funding needs. The Foundation provides stewardship for all contributions made to support the Hospital. This assures that donor restrictions and program priorities are honored, that current gifts are safely managed and distributed to the Hospital, and that endowed funds are managed to help ensure the strongest possible future for Beaufort Memorial Hospital.

About

Capital and Equipment purchases were underwritten allowing several patient care departments to upgrade or enhance equipment needed to provide superior healthcare to the community. In addition, $500,000 was approved to be used for the Keyserling Cancer Center Renovations.
