Intensive family preservation services- 'An intensive (10 hours a week), four to six-week in-home visitation counseling program for families who are at high-imminent risk of children being removed from the home because of child abuse or neglect. Services provided include individual and family counseling, case management, advocacy, and resource and referrals. Referrals for the program come from children at risk in the child protective services system, children at risk for being removed into group homes and/or hospitalization from the mental health system, and children at risk for out of home placement in the department of juvenile justice system. The program serves Alamance, Orange, Chatham, Caswell, Person, Randolph, and Guilford counties. Caseworker's availability is 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.'
