Educating Children and Families - Thirty students participated in Wired for Success afterschool, receiving educational support, daily meals and snacks, and mentoring. 135 children were registered for Camp J316, who participated over the course of 6 weeks of camp. Camp J316 was offered from 9am-3pm five days a week and provided breakfast and lunch, educational activities, and recreation (swimming, canoeing, fishing, games, etc). 35 children also participated in a basketball camp led by former Harlem Globetrotter Anthony Atkinson, who instilled team values and motived the children during the weeklong camp.
