During fiscal year 2019 The Cleveland County Abuse Prevention Council provided services to 433 victims of domestic violence and 114 victims of sexual assault and provided 4,549 nights of shelter for victims of homelessness. On-site support for victims of sexual assault and domestic violence at Carolinas Health Care System - Cleveland, the Cleveland County Health Department, Kings Mountain Hospital and other local medical offices and facilities. Prevention and awareness education relating to sexual assault and/or domestic violence for community and school groups. Affordable, professional counseling services to meet the needs of adult and teen victims who have experienced domestic violence/dating violence, rape/sexual assault, or childhood sexual abuse.
