Mission
To provide affordable housing to mentally disabled individuals particularly veterans. The housing includes housekeeping, meals, and assistance with medications as well as transportation to medical appointments.
About
Provide low rent housing to an average of 35-45 residents at any given time. These residents are the general public, some of which were homeless, but the vast majority are veterans with mental illness including, but not limited to schizophrenia. Room and board and janatorial services, as well as hygiene materials, are provided. An on-call nurse is available 24 hours and ensures compliance with residents' prescriptions and that the prescribed medications are taken appropriately. A washer and dryer is available in each apartment. Drivers are available for doctor appointments at the VA hospital.
