1.Funded by Berkshire United Way, the CPC is providing comprehensive services to the Crosby Elementary School, complementing the academic program in a state mandated turn- around plan for this poorly performing school. Programming and projects include:LifeSchool: A comprehensive stress management and wellness program for 125 teachers and staff.A childrens curriculum of social-emotional learning to teach children to better regulate their emotions and behaviorAn afterschool program in TaeKwonDo for at risk studentsWorking in partnership with the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), CPC is providing programing to teach and support parents and guardians in stress management and parenting skills.One on one coaching to teachers and staff to decrease stress and increase job satisfactionImprovements to the physical plant of the school: Painting and murals to improve this deteriorating school. Gardening services to beautify the landscapeBuilding community through partnering with the PTO to support family events2.Community Projects: Arts 4 Us provides Crosby families with the opportunity to attend arts venues in the Berkshires.
