Requipment is a medical equipment reuse program that provides individuals and families in Massachusetts with gently used, refurbished durable medical equipment (DME). The Requipment reuse program operates with private and state agency funding, with the mission to provide adults, seniors and families with easy access to quality gently used DME and to save valuable equipment from ending up in landfills. Through Requipment, people with disabilities and seniors can find refurbished power and manual wheelchairs, scooters, shower chairs, tub seats and more to assist them to live safer and more independently in their community. Equipment is provided at no charge and without the hassles of medical insurance or doctor's letters. Requipment's community based reuse partners accept DME donations, refurbish and deliver items statewide. Requipment provides a much-needed centralized coordinating service for donating DME and for requesting DME through the online inventory.
