NWHM OVERVIEW FOUNDED IN 1996, THE NATIONAL WOMEN'S HISTORY MUSEUM (NWHM) EXISTS TO TELL THE STORIES OF WOMEN WHO TRANSFORMED OUR NATION AND TO PROVIDE A COMPLETE VIEW OF AMERICAN HISTORY. THE MUSEUM IS STEADFASTLY WORKING TOWARDS THE GOAL OF A PERMANENT HOME ON OR NEAR THE NATIONAL MALL IN WASHINGTON, D.C. MUSEUM EDUCATORS CONDUCTED 44 ELECTRONIC FIELD TRIPS IN 2018, AND THE CALENDAR FOR THE 2019 SPRING SEMESTER IS COMPLETELY BOOKED. NWHM BIOGRAPHY PROJECT IN 2018, THE NWHM WELCOMED KERRI LEE ANDERSON, EDUCATION AND PUBLIC HISTORY FELLOW, TO THE EDUCATION TEAM. OVER THE NEXT TWO YEARS, KERRI WILL BE WORKING ON ADDING NEW AND UPDATING EXISTING BIOGRAPHIES OF NOTABLE WOMEN IN THE MUSEUM'S ALREADY 100-STRONG BIOGRAPHIES COLLECTION. A DOCTORAL CANDIDATE IN WOMEN'S HISTORY AT HOWARD UNIVERSITY, KERRI IS PASSIONATE ABOUT THE MUSEUM'S MISSION TO TELL WOMEN'S STORIES WHO HAVE MADE AN IMPACT ON OUR NATION.
