The Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank is the central hunger relief organization serving the 5 city and county Fredericksburg area. Pantry distribution program The Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank provides food distribution to the hungry and working poor of planning district 16 by partnering with 69 food pantries, soup kitchens, and shelters. In fiscal 2018, we distributed over 4.2 million pounds of produce, protein and other grocery items (more than 20,000 pounds each day) to over 33,000 individuals. In addition to our core pantry distribution program, we operate 11 mobile pantries each month, serving nearly 5,700 individuals annually, providing food to the most vulnerable food insecure living in rural and low access areas.
