Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP): SCSEP is a community service and work-based job training program for older Americans. Authorized by the Older Americans Act and administered by the U.S. Department of Labor, SCSEP participants gain work experience in a variety of community service activities at non-profit and public agencies, including schools, hospitals, day-care centers, and senior centers. SSAI is a national grantee who delivers the SCSEP program through a combination of direct service and sub-grantee partners in 34 states. From July 1, 2017 - June 30, 2018, our SCSEP program trained 6,776 participants.
