JCA proudly serves the Greater Washington, DC area. We help older adults (1) get answers through our Senior HelpLine and State Health Insurance Assistance Program; (2) learn and grow through workshops, guidebooks and online resources; (3) get around via our handicap-accessible buses, Connect-A-Ride Transportation Resource Center and other mobility management programs; (4) land a job through the JCA Career Gateway, 50+ Employment Expos and other employment programs, (5) build intergenerational bridges while helping children succeed in school and life through the JCA Interages Center, and (6) find a helping hand in our adult day centers as we (7) shatter stereotypes about growing older.

OUR BUS DRIVERS ARE SPECIALLY TRAINED TO ASSIST SENIORS WITH COGNITIVE AND PHYSICAL HANDICAPS TO JCA'S OWN ADULT DAY CENTERS, SENIOR CENTERS AND THE COMMUNITY THEY CHERISH.VILLAGERIDES HELPED 367 SENIORS AND ADULTS WITH DISABILITIES GET 5,061 RIDES THROUGH A NETWORK OF 15 NEIGHBORHOOD VILLAGES IN MONTGOMERY COUNTY AND PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD. THE POZEZ JEWISH COMMUNITY CENTER OF NORTHERN VIRGINIA HELPED 753 PASSENGERS GET 12,244 RIDES FROM 477 VOLUNTEER DRIVERS. ITS NV RIDES PROGRAM IS A PARTNER WITH JCA IN OUR VOLUNTEER DRIVING NETWORK OF GREATER D.C.OUR ESCORTED TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM PROVIDED 508 RIDES TO 395 SENIORS WHO REQUIRED DOOR-THROUGH-DOOR ASSISTANCE (SERVICES BEYOND DOOR-TO-DOOR PICKUP AND DROP-OFF).
