THE TECHNIQUE PRODUCES MACROALGAE AT SCALE WITHOUT COSTLY AQUACULTURE GEAR THAT IS: HARMFUL TO MARINE LIFE, VULNERABLE IN STORMS AND COMPETES WITH OTHER MARINE USERS. IT WORKS COMPATIBLY WITH ECOSYSTEMS. THE TEAM EMPLOYS TECHNOLOGY, SUCH AS MODELLING AND SATELLITE IMAGERY, TO LOCATE NATURAL SARGASSUM MATS PROXIMATE TO THE FARM SITE.
