WALDEN SIERRA OPERATES A FULL CONTINUUM OF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CARE SERVICES FOR THE SOUTHERN MARYLAND COMMUNITY. THE CONTINUUM INCLUDES SERVICES PROVIDING HEALTHCARE, COUNSELING AND PEER/RECOVERY SUPPORTIVE SERVICES OF VARYING INTENSITY LEVELS, TO INCLUDE MEDICALLY MONITORED INTENSIVE INPATIENT SERVICES, CLINICALLY MANAGED HIGH INTENSITY RESIDENTIAL SERVICES, CLINICALLY MANAGED LOW INTENSITY RESIDENTIAL SERVICES, PARTIAL HOSPITALIZATION SERVICES, INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT TREATMENT, EARLY INTERVENTION, RECOVERY COMMUNITY CENTER AND ADOLESCENT CLUBHOUSE ACCESS POINTS. SERVICES INCLUDE ASSESSMENT, MEDICATION ASSISTED TREATMENT, INDIVIDUALIZED AND GROUP TREATMENT AND FOLLOW UP SERVICES, COMMUNITY SUPPORT, CASE MANAGEMENT AND REFERRALS.ADDITIONALLY, WALDEN SIERRA PROVIDES MEDICATION MANAGEMENT AND MENTAL HEALTH THERAPY AS WELL AS A RANGE OF CRISIS AND TRAUMA INTERVENTIONS, EDUCATION, REFERRAL AND SUPPORTS FOR VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, RELATIONSHIP VIOLENCE, SEXUAL ASSAULT. VICTIMS SERVED BY WALDEN SIERRA INCLUDE SURVIVORS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, RELATIONSHIP ABUSE, DATING VIOLENCE, CHILD ADUSE, SEXUAL ASSAULT, RAPE AND STALKING. WALDEN SIERRA OPERATES THREE OUTPATIENT CLINIC SITES, TWO INPATIENT/RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT CAMPUSES, A RECOVERY COMMUNITY CENTER AND AN ADOLESCENT CLUBHOUSE. SERVICES ARE PROVIDED AT THESE SITES, VIA A 24/7 HOTLINE, AND AT COMMUNITY PARTNER LOCATIONS SUCH AS SOCIAL AND HUMAN SERVICES AND OTHER HEALTHCARE PROVIDER LOCATIONS.ON AVERAGE, WALDEN TREATMENT SERVICES ASSIST OVER 2,000 INDIVIDUALS ANNUALLY. RECOVERY/PEER SUPPORT PROGRAMS REACH AROUND 850 YOUTH AND ADULTS ANNUALLY. HOTLINE SERVICES RECEIVE OVER 9,000 CALLS ANNUALLY, WITH DIRECT SERVICES TO VICTIMS OF TRAUMA AND ABUSE TOTALLING SEVERAL HUNDRED INDIVIDUALS.PARTNERS AND COLLABORATORS INCLUDE LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT, COURT AND REENTRY PROGRAMS, HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS (PRIMARY CARE AND PREVENTION), HUMAN AND SOCIAL SERVICES (PROGRAMS PROVIDING ELIGIBILITY BENEFITS, BASIC NEEDS, ETC.)
