Mission

The Hope Center at Hagerstown Rescue Mission was founded in 1955 to meet the spiritual and physical needs of homeless and destitute men, women and children. Not just another 'homeless shelter,' our main emphasis is the soul of the man while providing work and a sense of responsibility for the man. The Hope Center is just one of the ministries under the 'umbrella' of Four States Christian Missions, Inc. Some of our other ministries include our Wildside Youth ministries (including a four-week summer day camp), Koffee Klatch (a weekly Bible study and fellowship for women), Soup Line (serving a hot meal every day of the year to hungry men, women and children), Family Assistance (sharing the love of Christ to families and individuals through gifts of clothing.

About

Provide emergency shelter, food, clothing and other family assistance to homeless and needy people in our community. These services are provided through the operation of an overnight shelter for men, a food bank and a thrift store.
