Mission

Our agency (formerly Mid-Valley Women’s Crisis Service) offers a safe refuge and support to victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking and human trafficking. Our programs and services inform survivors of their options and support them in their choices. A cornerstone of our philosophy is respect for the rights of all survivors, including the freedom to decide whether to report to the police the crimes committed against them. We work with survivors of any race, color, creed, religious belief, sexual orientation, or gender identity.

Provide emergency shelter, 24-hour crisis hotline, advocacy, safety planning, referrals, and other supportive resources to victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and human trafficking. Number of clients serviced: 30,964 total contacts; 6,639 nights of shelter to 221 adults and children; outreach to 2,810 community members through 107 presentations; support groups (in English & Spanish) with 906 participants and 571 children in childcare; and court support services to 1,087 survivors.
