Saint Luke's Cushing Hospital (SLCH) is a faith-based, not-for-profit, community hospital currently licensed to operate 54 beds and is dedicated to providing both services and leadership in caring for its community. All program service expenses were incurred in furtherance of our mission, which is to ensure the highest levels of excellence in providing health related services to our patients in a caring environment and enhancing the physical, mental and spiritual health of the communities we serve. In 2018, there were 2,600 patient days and 290 newborn days. In addition, the hospital provided 13,000 emergency room visits and 26,500 outpatient visits and outpatient surgeries. Emergency services are provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and are staffed by board-certified emergency physicians. The hospital participates in the Medicaid, Tricare, and Medicare programs and has financial assistance policies for assisting people without adequate means to pay for their care.
