Relieve poverty and reverse community deterioration in the least developed countries, starting with Haiti, by enabling local entrepreneurs to learn business skills necessary to expand their businesses and create jobs in places where they are most needed. Alter matches a small number of promising entrepreneurs in the least developed countries with local and global business experts, who will provide training and advice that will promote the success of the entrepreneurs and their businesses. Additionally, Alter's coaching program provides its partner companies with access to Silicon Valley-trained executive coaches. The coaches worked with companies in Bangladesh and Myanmar to help them scale.
