Western Nis encourages, through lending, investment, and technical assistance, the creation and expansion of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Ukraine and Moldova. Western Nis also fulfills its mission of attracting additional private capital to the region through its USAID-approved role as a sponsor of the Emerging Europe Growth Fund, LP, a private equity fund launched in 2006 and Emerging Europe Growth Fund III, LP('EEGF III'), a private equity fund launched in 2017.
