Mission
Deaf Plus Adult Community (DPAC) provides an adult day program for those who have developmental delays and are deaf or deaf/blind and may have behavior challenges. DPAC focuses on personal growth for each individual through their individual service plan. A communication rich environment is critical to serving this population. All staff are fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and other forms of visual communication as well as tactile sign language. Our environment supports learning and practicing individual and social skills, provides choices, encourages independence, enhances relationships with family and friends and engages participants in the larger community.
