Apex Protection Project is dedicated to protecting wolves and wolf-dogs througheducational experiences, rescue and advocacy with the dream of living in a worldwhere wolf and all species are highly valued, protected and respected for the balance they bring to the ecosystem and for the gifts they offer to humanity.Apex presented to over 3000 kids with our free school presentations and community outreach.Over 300 people passed through the Apex facility for our educational hikes with the pack.We created, produced and hosted the 3rd annual Sedona Wolf Week which has now become the largest annual wolf event in the county. Sedona wolf week is a week long event in Sedona AZ. People from all over the country attended. We have lectures from the leading experts on wolves as well as art and entertainment and an opportunity to meet the Apex PackApex was boots on the ground working with three other Nonprofits to rescue 185 feral wolfdogs and dog from a hording situation in Northern Californian where the state was coming in to euthanize. We captured and transported these animals to safety all over the country, traveling thousands of miles in the process. Every animal survived and are now in safe places where they can live out their lives. We also assisted in 6 other rescues and transports totaling over 200 animals saved in 2018
