About this organization
Mission
To inspire, challenge, and empower teen girls to climb high in all areas of life through transformational leadership programs.
About
19 girls participated in Wellfit Girls Leadership, Fitness and Empowerment Program. The program offers a small group setting with a dedicated leadership team. The program, which begins in January, follows a 20-week curriculum, which includes topics such as identity, boundaries, body image, bold leadership, vision and goals, fitness, yoga, guest speakers and more. This program culminated with a 10-day expedition to Peru where the girls completed a 3-day service project and a strenuous 5-day, 4-night trek along the Salkantay Trail in Peru. For the community service project, the girls painted the outside of a school and a local community center in a rural town outside of Cusco.
