Mission

Dedicated to educating, equipping and empowering individuals of all ages with the relationship skills necessary to form and maintain healthy relationships, healthy marriages and safe, stable families for the well being of children and adults.

About

In 2018, 8475 youth and adults received 6-8 hours of relationship skills training through direct CRE services: 320 couples, 1030 individuals, 6800 middle and high school students and 325 educators. Those educators have impacted thousands more students throughout the country by teaching CREs youth relationship curriculum, REAL Essentials. In Colorado, through the Community Centered Healthy Marriage and Relationship federal grant, CRE forged partnerships with military base leadership to provide workshops and retreats to military families. Also partnered with Goodwill Industries, Mi Casa Resource Center, Arapahoe County HHS, The Denver Rescue Mission, Jefferson County Foster Care families, and many community-based organizations to serve program participants with relationship education and training. CRE hosted its 5th DIY Marriage Experience giving 100+ couples tools to improve their marriage. CRE staff has been featured guests on the radio and other media regarding relationship issues in Denver and across the country. CRE continues to improve and update the relationship education curriculum called REAL Essentials to encompass the most current research and best practices. In addition, CRE staff is reaching out to other non-profit organizations and schools nation-wide to assist them in implementing the curriculum, so CRE has an impact on youth throughout the country.
