In 2018, we have provided hundreds of halo mobility devices to blind dogs to navigate safely and most importantly to take away the stigma of blindness. Their newfound mobility and confidence levels has made them more adoptable. This has helped many blind dogs abandoned in shelters not get euthanized and be rescued. Additionally, we have enhanced the quality of lives for many dogs of senior citizens on fixed incomes, people with disabilities and families with financial hardship. We have also provided medical care for blind in need and helped network them into forever homes. Hundreds of blind dogs are now thriving because of our mission work. Program service expenses provide blind dogs in need of veterinary services due to blindness medical issues and for mobility halo devices provided to hundreds of blind dogs in need, to prevent them from bumping into walls and hard surfaces and to help them navigate safely in new and existing surrounding so they are not euthanized.
