About this organization
Mission
Religious, Charitable, and Education. To engage individuals in using their time, talents, and resources to create positive change in the world. We engage volunteers in working toward helping orphans, widows, school children and those in need both in Uganda and in our community in Minnesota.
About
We have raised funding to help pay for the daily operation for a school of 900+ children, grades preschool through the first year of high school in Eastern Uganda. We also support Hands of Action International to provide a fair wage to teachers and staff and provided funding for a daily feeding program for the students who were otherwise malnourished, some eating less than three times a week. We also fund the staffing of a women's sewing training center on the school campus so that the widows who care for the orphans can make an income and learn vital sewing skills while the kids are at school.
