About
Assisted 20 children and youth through tutoring. Each student was able to meet their goals to pass to the next grade level. Partnered with Central Education Center to host our tutoring on Thursdays. Grandparents raising grandchildren gained information on how to work with their grandchildren and understand the boundaries of being a parent and a grandparent. Ambassadors 4 Kids, an anti-bullying initiative was introduced to the Coweta Board of Education. The outcome was Family Patterns Matter will be bringing it to the elementary and middle schools. Working with children living in poverty, we gave out 40 winter coats, paid 4 families utility bill to keep heat on in the winter, paid rent on 3 families to keep them from being evicted, purchased groceries and Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner for 15 families. Provided gifts from Santa to 40 children. Assisted 15 family violence survivors leave the abuse and relocate to a safe place.
