IN FY19, IPEC HOSTED A TOTAL OF TWO FACULTY DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTES, ONE REGIONAL SUMMIT, ONE LEADERSHIP PROGRAM, AND EIGHT WEBINARS. THE FALL 2018 IPEC INSTITUTE WAS HELD IN PHOENIX, AZ AND CONSISTED OF 92 PARTICIPANTS. FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER, THE SPRING IPEC INSTITUTE WAS OPEN TO BOTH MULTIDISCIPLINARY TEAMS AND INDIVIDUAL LEARNERS. THE MAY 2019 PROGRAM BROUGHT TOGETHER 98 ATTENDEES, WITH 11 SINGLE REGISTRANTS, IN WASHINGTON, DC.WITH FUNDING FROM THE SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES ADMINISTRATION (SAMHSA), IPEC CO-SPONSORED A FREE REGIONAL SUMMIT WITH TO PROMOTE ADDICTION EDUCATION BEST PRACTICES. THE 2018 IPEC SAMHSA ADDICTION EDUCATION INTERPROFESSIONAL SUMMIT TOOK PLACE ON AUGUST 16-17, 2018 IN WASHINGTON, DC.ON OCTOBER 17, 2018, IPEC ISSUED AN OPEN CALL FOR MEMBERSHIP. AN APPLICATION FROM THE AMERICAN ASSOCIATION FOR RESPIRATORY CARE (AARC) WAS APPROVED BY THE IPEC BOARD OF DIRECTORS ON DECEMBER 6, 2018. IPEC NOW CONSISTS OF 21 NATIONAL ASSOCIATIONS.ON FEBRUARY 5, 2019, IPEC HELD ITS WINTER 2019 MEMBER MEETING IN WASHINGTON, DC. THE MEETING WELCOMED IPEC'S NEW BOARD MEMBER-AT-LARGE, DARLA COFFEY FROM THE COUNCIL ON SOCIAL WORK EDUCATION, AND REPRESENTATIVES FROM AARC.THE IPEC INTERPROFESSIONAL LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (ILDP) TOOK PLACE ON FEBRUARY 6-8, 2019 IN WASHINGTON, DC. THE 2019 IPEC ILDP ENGAGED 55 PARTICIPANTS ACROSS 13 IPEC MEMBER ASSOCIATIONS' SCHOOLS. ONCE AGAIN, THE ACADEMY FOR ADVANCING LEADERSHIP (AAL) MANAGED THE CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT, INSTRUCTORS, AND DELIVERY OF THE IPEC ILDP. AAL USED FEEDBACK FROM THE 2017 ITERATION OF THE IPEC INTERPROFESSIONAL DEANS LEADERSHIP PROGRAM (ILDP) TO TIE THE CURRICULUM TO THE IPEC COMPETENCIES AND TO APPLY PROGRAM CONTENT TO INSTITUTIONAL PROJECTS.IN SPRING 2019, IPEC AND THE ASSOCIATION OF AMERICAN MEDICAL COLLEGES (AAMC) OPENED A NATIONAL CALL FOR AN ASSOCIATE EDITOR TO OVERSEE, PROMOTE, AND CURATE THE MEDEDPORTAL INTERPROFESSIONAL EDUCATION (IPE) COLLECTION ON MEDEDPORTAL. IN JUNE 2019, IPEC AND THE AAMC APPOINTED JEANNINE NONAILLADA, PHD, OTR/L, BCG, FAOTA AS THE ASSOCIATE EDITOR FOR THE MEDEDPORTAL IPE COLLECTION.IN ITS THIRD YEAR, IPEC COLLABORATED WITH THE UNITED STATES PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICE ON THE PUBLIC HEALTH EXCELLENCE IN INTERPROFESSIONAL EDUCATION COLLABORATION AWARD. THE 2019 WINNERS FROM THE CRIMSON CARE COLLABORATIVE WERE AWARDED AT THE JUNE 13-14, 2019 IPEC MEMBER MEETING IN WASHINGTON, DC. THE FOUR HONORABLE MENTION FINALISTS WERE ALSO INVITED TO PRESENT POSTERS ON THEIR IPECP PROJECTS.IN 2019, IPEC CONTINUED ITS PARTNERSHIP WITH THE AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF COLLEGES OF NURSING (AACN) TO CONDUCT A FREE WEBINAR SERIES. IPEC CO-HOSTED SEVEN WEB OFFERINGS WITH AACN IN FY19 AND ONE WEBINAR IN CONJUNCTION WITH AAL.
