Mission
The purpose of Jet Setters, Inc. is to teach children, adolescents, and young adults the importance of culture and tradition while respecting the cultures and practices of others through education and experience.
About
Jet Setters, Inc. is currently in the set up stage. The board of directors has been forging relationships with people in the community in order to gain support of the program. This includes joining the Paulding County Chamber of Commerce and being active in their meetings and event. Jet Setters, Inc. has made great strides with some of the influential leaders in the community and is in discussion with the mayor of Hiram to obtain free land for a community garden. Also, a major power company has donated a spot at a charity golf tournament to showcase and introduce our vision to over 200 community members. The anticipated open date for Jet Setters, Inc. is August 2015 and is planned to be in the East Paulding County/West Cobb area. All children within a 5 mile radius will be welcomed to attend until the 100 member maximum is met. Until then Jet Setters, Inc. will be hosting community events and is looking into teaching small classes at the local recreation center.
