Marie's House of Hope's mission was developed specifically for young men and women between the ages of 16-21 who are in need of intensive services focused on their independent skills. The organization is a licensed independent living home that specializes in teaching older teens the skills they will need for living life in the community. It is the first step toward their independence while providing a safe place to tru new skills before leaving care.

The independent living program provides a safe and caring place for the clients. The clients have support groups and resources to assist them to make better choices in life. They are provided training and assistance in completing job applications, dressing proper for job interviews, trained how to respond to interview questions, and how to do a follow-up. Each client is trained in budgeting and managing money. Once the budgeting and managing money course is completed, each client will receive 100 to open up a checking and saving account.
