About
Aurora Project, Inc. is a comprehensive housing and life skills program designed to provide service enriched housing to homeless women and their children. It is the only program of its type in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan where mothers and their children can remain together while addressing the issues that led to their homelessness. Historically, of those women completing Aurora's program, 70% will remain stable a minimum of two years beyond successful program completion. In fiscal year 2018-19, Aurora provided supportive housing and services to 70 women and their children. Aurora consists of not only transitional housing but also owns two units of permanent housing and in June 2015, developed in partnership with a local contractor, four units of permanent supportive housing for women.
