K9s 4 Mobility, Inc. places four to six assistance dog teams per year, and aims to increase assistance dog team placements. K9s 4 Mobility, Inc. has also established an owner-trained assistance dog training program that is offered to those wishing to train their own assistance dog under the supervision of a certified assistance dog trainer. Once accepted into the owner-trained program, the person must be willing to travel to K9s 4 Mobility's training facility multiple times before certification of the team.
