Main Stage July 2016: On our main we presented The 100 We Are by Swedish playwright Jonas Hassen Khemiri, the project ran for three weeks at The Cell Theatre on 23rd St NYC and starred 3 NY based equity actorsMain Stage Sept 2016: In Sept we began with our annual theater festival Origin's 1st Irish - this event talks place in ten venues across Manhattan and offers wide range of main stage and free programming on theater related conversations and public readings of new plays.Main Stage Nov 2016: We presented the American premier of Poison by award winning Dutch playwright Lot Vekemans, the production was presented on 42 St NYC with Drama Desk winner and received The New York Times Critic PickMondays of May: Our annual reading series in association with NYU. This program takes place over four weeks and presented work from Germany, Italy, Ireland and BritainYeats Playwright Competition: This year we launched a playwrighting competition aimed at writers up to the age of 28. The winning play received development under Origin Theatre.In June 2017 we presented our annual Bloomsday event in association with Blooms on 58th St. This celebration offers NY audiences and opportunity to celebrate the work of James Joyce.
