US Speedskating's exempt purpose is to promote speedskating in the United States and succeed athletically at international competitions. US speedskating's mission is to be one of the premier speedskating organizations in the world through excellence in leadership, development and performance. We are primarily focused on training and development of elite athletes for international competition including the Winter Olympic Games.US Speedskating is also responsible for the grassroots development of speedskating. The association supports athlete development camps as well as coaching and officiating educational training across the country.
