Education -- Provided direct voter education to ensure successful Ranked Choice Voting outcomes in the 2017 Minneapolis and St. Paul elections, reaching more than 42,000 voters directly and additional 400,000 indirectly though presentations, and traditional and social media. The efforts included targeted outreach in Somali, Latino and African American communities in partnership with organizations in those communities. Developed and conducted RCV training for candidates and campaigns running in 2017. Established a national model for training candidates on how to campaign under RCV. Mades presentations to dozens of community organizations in the Twin Cities on Ranked Choice Voting. Hosted the 3rd annual Best of the Wurst Festival in partnership with Sociable Cider Werks.
