Energy assistance: CAP-HC provided financial assistance towards energy, heating and utility bills for 20,469 low-income households to maintain affordable, continuous, and safe home energy (gas, heat, oil) and water during the heating season October 1st - May 31st. We provided direct one-time payments to energy vendors through funding received from the state and federal government. One-time direct water payments were made to City of Minneapolis through private funding sources. Additionally, emergency funds were made available through state and private funding sources for 5,557 households in crisis and for 333 households in need of furnace repair.
