Provided prevocational services to more than 300 adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities enabling them to productively engage in age-appropriate work that improves self-esteem, develops social relationships, and generates discretionary income so they can make purchases to better their quality of life. Provided life enrichment activities and therapies to more than 40 adults with developmental disabilities that improves their self-esteem, develops social relationships, and maintains their health to better enjoy a quality of life. Provided more than 300 rides every weekday to transport clients from their homes to Merrick or another work location and back again. Provided retirement and memory care services to more than 35 adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities to maintain their health and better enjoy a quality of life. We have 100 clients that attend weekly self-advocacy meetings to discuss their rights, legislative priorities, or daily challenges.
