SCHUBERT CLUB PRESENTED SIX CONCERT SERIES THAT COMPRISED OVER 60 RECITALS AND MUSICAL EVENTS AT VARIOUS VENUES THROUGHOUT THE TWIN CITIES IN 2018-19, REACHING OVER 20,000 AUDIENCE MEMBERS AND PARTICIPANTS. THOUSANDS MORE HEARD PERFORMANCES BROADCAST ON MINNESOTA PUBLIC RADIO REGIONALLY AND ACROSS THE NATION.ONE OF ONLY A FEW ORGANIZATIONS THAT PRESENT RECITALS IN THE UNITED STATES, SCHUBERT CLUB'S INTERNATIONAL ARTIST SERIES (IAS) HAS ATTAINED AN INTERNATIONAL REPUTATION FOR ENGAGING THE WORLD'S GREATEST ARTISTS IN SOLO PERFORMANCES. THIS SERIES WAS LAUNCHED IN 1893, AND CONTINUES TODAY AT THE ORDWAY CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS IN SAINT PAUL. IN 2018-19 THE EIGHT IAS CONCERTS ATTRACTED MORE THAN 6,800 AUDIENCE MEMBERS. MUSIC IN THE PARK SERIES IS ONE OF THE FEW DEDICATED CHAMBER MUSIC SERIES IN MINNESOTA AND FEATURES ARTISTS AND MUSIC OF NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL PROMINENCE. MUSIC IN THE PARK SERIES PRESENTED CHAMBER MUSIC ENSEMBLES AT SAINT ANTHONY PARK'S UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST IN SIX SOLD-OUT CONCERTS TO 1,700 PEOPLE, AND PRESENTED SIX FAMILY CONCERTS SERVING OVER 500 CHILDREN AND ADULTS. IN ADDITION TO FAMILY CONCERTS, SCHUBERT CLUB PRESENTED SENSORY-FRIENDLY CONCERTS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE ON THE AUTISM SPECTRUM AND THEIR FAMILIES, INVITING ALL TO EXPERIENCE LIVE PROFESSIONAL MUSIC IN A SAFE AND SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT. THE CONCERTS SERVED 75 PEOPLE LAST SEASON. SCHUBERT CLUB MIX IS AN INNOVATIVE SERIES DESIGNED TO TAKE THE FORMALITY OUT OF CLASSICAL MUSIC. AUDIENCES ARE TREATED TO REMARKABLE AND INTIMATE PERFORMANCES WITH RELEVANT ARTISTS WHO ARE CURRENTLY INFLUENCING THE MUSICAL LANDSCAPE. AT NON-TRADITIONAL VENUES LIKE THE WAREHOUSE/INDUSTRIAL SPACES OF ARIA AND MACHINE SHOP IN MINNEAPOLIS AND TPT'S STREET SPACE IN ST. PAUL, SIX SCHUBERT CLUB MIX CONCERTS REACHED A TOTAL AUDIENCE OF OVER 1,100 PEOPLE. DOZENS OF MINNESOTA-BASED MUSICIANS AND COMPOSERS WERE AMONG THOSE FEATURED DURING THE 26 FREE, NOONTIME COURTROOM CONCERTS AT LANDMARK CENTER FROM OCTOBER THROUGH MAY. COURTROOM CONCERT AUDIENCES AVERAGE 135 PEOPLE EACH WEEK, ATTENDED BY DOWNTOWN WORKERS AND VISITORS AS WELL AS SENIOR OR DISABLED MUSIC ENTHUSIASTS WHO OTHERWISE WOULD FIND IT DIFFICULT TO ATTEND A CONCERT SERIES.ACCORDO IS A HIGHLY REGARDED ENSEMBLE COMPOSED OF PRESENT AND FORMER PRINCIPAL STRING PLAYERS OF THE SAINT PAUL CHAMBER ORCHESTRA AND MINNESOTA ORCHESTRA. SCHUBERT CLUB PRESENTED NINE CONCERTS BY ACCORDO FOR A TOTAL OF OVER 2,200 PEOPLE AT THREE VENUES IN MINNEAPOLIS AND SAINT PAUL. SCHUBERT CLUB ALSO CO-SPONSORED A 6-CONCERT SERIES BY THE LOCAL CHAMBER ENSEMBLE HILL HOUSE CHAMBER PLAYERS AT THE HISTORIC JAMES J. HILL HOUSE IN ST. PAUL FOR 400 AUDIENCE MEMBERS.
