Mission The Hoogland Center for the Arts was established to provide a creative environment for people of all ages to participate in the arts and to provide a central location with reasonable rent for area arts organizations to call home. The Center is home to over 20 different resident organizations, comprised of performing and visual arts groups, civic clubs, and private businesses. These resident groups entertain thousands of visitors every month of the year with a variety of concerts, plays, musicals, recitals, gallery showings, poetry readings, meetings, and classes. The building is also a training ground for young artists, with educational opportunities for youth provided by several of the resident arts organizations.
