Mission
Pui Tak Center was established by the Chinese Christian Union Church to be a Christian witness to Chinese in Chicago through educational, family and community services. Pui Tak Center's programs include: Adult Education and Training (ESL classes, tutoring services, computer center and restaurant sanitation certification), Children and Youth (educational and enrichment programs after school and during the summer) and Community Services (new immigrant services, immigration assistance, disability services and community service projects). Each year, over 2500 persons are served through these programs. The programs are staffed by 13 full-time and 34 part-time staff. Each year, over 200 volunteers serve at PTC on a one-time or regular basis.

The Adult Education and Training Program helps immigrants develop English language skills and other skills needed for work, community and family life.
