Pads Lake County: the only non-restrictive emergency shelter in Lake County where no one is turned away. Pads provides overnight shelter for over 100 people per night between October 1st and April 30th and for 40 people between May 1st and September 30th. Additionally, the day resource center is open five days a week providing advocacy, case management, referral, and follow-up services as well as assisting in gaining access to mainstream benefits.
