Rainey Institute is dedicated to positive change for Greater Cleveland's youth and families through education and participation in performing and visual arts. Rainey Institute develops self-esteem, humanitarian values, work ethic, life skills and hope in a new future for all program participants. The institute provides arts education programs for children in Cleveland. Rainey has been serving this community since 1904. Rainey's programs in music, dance, drama and visual arts are delivered to children through an afterschool program, Saturday classes and summer camp program. Rainey also provides afterschool programs in several of the Cleveland schools and currently serves 1600 children keeping them engaged in positive activities and away from gangs, drugs, crime and other urban challenges.
