About

Direct aid to clients provided through parenting classes and mentoring programs in the form of cribs, maternity clothes, baby clothing and supplies, and pre-natal vitamins. Over 1,000 clients received services and education on how to care for themselves and their baby. Richland Pregnancy Services offers hope and truth to women facing difficult pregnancy situations. By offering free services such as pregnancy testing, ultrasound scans, and education about alternatives, we are able to provide loving support and information that lead women to make a positive decision for them and their unborn children. Over 100 ultrasounds were performed on pregnant women. These have proven successful in helping women decide to carry their unborn child to term. Programs were held in local schools informing children of the option of sexual abstinence and the benefits of avoiding casual sex. In Richland County, over 2,500 students participated in the program. Materials were distributed to the students to further educate them in the dangers of casual sex and the benefits of abstinence. The purpose of these programs is to prevent unwanted pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases in the lives of young people.
