Second Harvest is the regional nonprofit committed to fighting hunger in North Central Ohio. Working together with a network of 105 partner hunger-relief charities to acquire, gather, and distribute 9.3m lbs of nutritious food and grocery products, Second Harvest helps feed more than 80,000 unduplicated people throughout Crawford, Erie, Huron and Lorain counties. Program partners include food pantries, hot meal programs, shelters, children and senior programs. Second Harvest receives food through the Emergency Food Assistance Program, Ohio Food Program & Agricultural Clearance Program, Commodity Supplemental Food Program, food manufacturers, retailers, farmers and growers.
