About this organization
Mission
Mission: We are neighbors willing to engage our community with the love of Christ.
About
Wewillgo is a non-profit 501(c)(3) Christian ministry, established in 2003. Jesus asked us to reach our 'Jerusalem'- as Jackson, MS is our local Jerusalem. We daily share gospel through practical ministries like: homework help/tutoring, urban sip coffee shop, food ministry, gardens, WWG arts woodshop, gymnasium/sports ministries, neighborhood outreach, etc. We also have weekly worship services, bible studies, discipleship, and teachings. Our goal is to love God with all we are and love our neighbors in real, daily practical ways. We minister and live in a very poor, difficult area of Jackson. Many of our neighbors that we minister to are ill with TB, HIV/AIDS, and many other diseases, etc. Most have no jobs or employment opportunities or discipleship. We have opportunities daily and weekly to share the gospel, disciple, and teach practical training skills and job references in our gardens, woodshop, and coffee shop. We also are able through the WWG arts gardens to provide healthy food and teach our neighbors and flock how to grow healthy organic food and cook healthy food to take better care of their bodies.
