Mission

Family Assistance Program empowers all individuals and families, regardless of age or gender, by providing knowledge and skills to live a healthy, safe, fulfilled life. We reach this mission by operating six human service programs which provide a variety of supportive services in a safe compassionate environment designed to give a voice to vulnerable people. Each program equips participants with tools necessary for healthy interpersonal relationships, economic empowerment, and safe stable housing.

About

We help our clients navigate the legal system dealing with restraining orders and court ordered visitation. We provide no cost counseling and peer group counseling to help create a healthy happy future for their family. We also provide the necessary support for our clients to keep their current employment or search for new employment here in the Victor Valley. When the family is ready to move on, we help find housing and provide furniture and/or other necessary items to start their new violence free life. We also provide runaway youth shelter and services along with new transitional housing locations. During this reporting period, we serviced 3,310 clients.
