About this organization
Mission
The Refuge is a leading faith-based addiction recovery organization founded in Ohio in 1999 with a mission to change the lives of men affected by addiction through Christ. Serving anyone regardless of faith or background, The Refuge seeks to take individuals from active addiction to becoming responsible and productive citizens who serve as lights to their families and communities. This is done by means of The Refuge Residential Addiction Recovery Programs. Offered free-of-charge, Refuge programs take place over thirteen-months and involve four distinct phases. The programs center on The Refuge's process for transformational change. This process assists individuals with overcoming addiction and provides lasting guidance on living a Christ-centered life.
