Tecumseh Land Preservation Association core purpose is land preservation in Clark & Greene counties & surrounding areas. In 2018, we placed conservation easements on 9 properties for a total of 1,134 acres. $1,367,779.00 was secured from funding partners by TLT for the completion of 8 of these projects with one conservation easement being donated. We now hold over 160 conservation easements on over 27,500 acres. 29 additional projects are in various stages and when finished will add an additional 4,000 acres. Work continues on the Regional Conservation Partnership for the Jacoby Creek Watershed to protect land and water and install best conservation practices started in 2017.
