To ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community.  Dealing with the anxiety and stress of cancer for you or a loved one is overwhelming, both emotionally and socially. CSC is here to support anyone affected by cancer through free high-quality, community-focused, evidence-based programs and resources. For over 30 years, CSC has been enhancing the lives of people in the local community by offering free support and services to improve quality of life and survivorship.

ALL-INCLUSIVE PROGRAMMING INCLUDES SUPPORT GROUPS, STRESS REDUCTION, EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND SOCIAL CONNECTIONS/ACTIVITIES DESIGNED TO HELP ANYONE IMPACTED BY CANCER. ALL PROGRAMS AND SERVICES PROVIDED AND HOSTED BY THE CANCER SUPPORT COMMUNITY OF GREATER CINCINNATI AND NORTHERN KENTUCKY ARE FREE OF CHARGE. OUR GENEROUS DONORS MAKE IT POSSIBLE TO STRENGTHEN ALL IMPACTED BY CANCER THROUGH AN INCLUSIVE COMMUNITY OF CARE. IN 2018, CSC SERVED MORE THAN 4,000 INDIVIDUALS, RESULTING IN 23,995.INDIVIDUAL VISITS. IN 2018 THERE WERE 203 NEW ORIENTEES THAT ATTENDED THE CONNECT TO THE COMMUNITY. CSC HAD 3,993 VISITS TO SUPPORT AND NETWORKING GROUPS, 2,532 VISITS TO OUR EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS LED BY COMMUNITY EXPERTS, 7,700 VISITS TO OUR HEALTHY LIFESTYLE ACTIVITIES (TAI CHI, MEDITATION, YOGA, ZUMBA, REIKI AND MORE) AND 2041 VISITS TO OUR SOCIAL EVENTS. CSC ALSO HAD 3,070 INDIVIDUALS SUPPORT SESSIONS FOR CRISIS MANAGEMENT, RESOURCE GUIDANCE AND EMOTIONAL SUPPORT. CANCER SUPPORT COMMUNITY IS COMMITTED TO ENHANCING OFFERINGS TO THE COMMUNITY SPECIFICALLY TO UNDERSERVED POPULATIONS, FAMILIES AND DIFFICULT TO REACH AREAS OF THE REGION. CSC HAD 891 VISITS TO FAMILY PROGRAMS. CANCERSUPPORTSOURCE (CSS) IS A BRIEF VALIDATED RESEARCH BASED SURVEY TO UNDERSTAND PATIENTS AND CAREGIVERS UNIQUE NEEDS AND WANTS AND TRIAGE TO MOST APPROPRIATE SUPPORT AND PROGRAMS. THE INDIVIDUAL RECEIVES A CUSTOMIZED MY SUPPORT CARE PLAN.
